Blog Resume

Rian Borah

I'm a Master's student in the Robotics Institute (RI) at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests are in Robot Learning & Manipulation, Reinforcement Learning, Optimization & Control, and Computer Vision.

Previously, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Cruz. I've worked on transformer-based vision models and RL at SOLO World Partners, embedded sensor fusion and haptic teleoperation at TDK InvenSense, and bioelectronic devices at the Rolandi Lab.

I am currently running SyncQ an enterprise software solution to automate sales and accounting systems and pipelines.
